EV High Power Charging

Volkswagen's innovative 150 kW Flexpole chargers, each with two charging points, have an integrated battery storage system, overcoming one of the biggest obstacles to the rapid deployment of fast charging infrastructure in Europe today - the need for a high power grid connection.

Flexpole devices can be directly connected to the low voltage grid, eliminating the need for a dedicated substation and costly construction work, significantly reducing installation time, providing high charging speeds of up to 150 kW in just 10 minutes, enough to drive up to 160 km, depending on the electric vehicle model.

Scalability

Home charging is booming: in the last three months alone, the number of deliveries of private wall boxes from Elli has reached five figures. In Germany, the request includes an incentive program for private charging stations, which offers a bonus of 900 euros for the purchase of connected wall boxes. Volkswagen exhibits two models covered by the bonus - ID. Connect charger (599 euros) and ID. Charger Pro (849 euros). Despite the high demand, the delivery time of these models is currently about two weeks.

Fast charging stations for electric trucks with a capacity of 300 kW are also gaining popularity.
