Amino acids from pasture grass.
The biorefinery extracts plant amino acids from an underestimated renewable resource: grass. Subsequently, it can be used as a valuable source of vegetable protein or sustainable fertilizer. The product, obtained through several digestion, filtration and concentration processes, contains important amino acids as well as minerals, carbon dioxide, lactic acid and sugars.
Scalability
One biorefinery can process 10 thousand tons of pasture grass annually. The modular design of the system ensures simple serial connection and thus increased material consumption. The products are used as fertilizer in agriculture, but can also be used in the food industry.
